Dumping the sand out of our shoes after a morning in the sandbox. What could be better than the sandbox?!

Dinosaurs

Last week we talked about dinosaurs! We drew homes for dinosaurs, and we worked as a class to measure out how much toilet paper we would need to equal how tall our favorite dinosaurs were a long time ago.

Lately in Pre-K

As we talked about and celebrated Valentine's Day, we also talked about the post office and how letters get from the post office to our mailbox. We had our very own post office and made letters for those we care about. We put stamps on our envelopes and put them in our mailboxes!

Plane Ride

Last week we talked about different kinds of transportation. What better way to learn about planes, than to take a pretend plane ride?! We had tickets, seats and an awesome flight attendant serving us drinks. There was a little turbulence, but overall it was a short and easy flight to the playground!

We have our tickets!
In our seats!
Watching the safety instruction video. We are ready for takeoff!

We had some nice drinks on the plane thanks to our flight attendant, Mrs. Brown.
After experiencing some turbulence, we safely landed and we were off to the playground!

The Gingerbread Man

Yesterday was a crazy day in Pre-K. Our gingerbread cookie went missing!

We read "The Gingerbread Man" as a class.

While we were napping, the gingerbread cookies were baking in the oven. Silly Miss Oberste opened the oven and a cookie ran out. Just like in our story! We went searching for her and found clues she left.

The clue on the playground led us to Ms. Proctor's Art room.

The Art room clue led us to the Computer Lab. We found the next clue almost on the ceiling! Next, we were off to Ms. Scalet's office.

Thanks to help from Ms. Scalet, we realized the cookie was back in our classroom!

We searched and searched for that cookie! We found it!

Then it was time to enjoy our cookies!

After our snack, we had to go to Music and tell Mrs. Wantiez about our adventure!

We think that will be the last time Miss Oberste opens the oven full of gingerbread cookies!

Getting in the Christmas Spirit

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Advent Service Project. We took our donations to the Ministry of Compassion. They were so thankful!

Sitting around the fire place in our Home Living center.

Marble rolling candy canes.

We had to take pictures in front of the tree in our Christmas outfits!
